Jaime Evans is an experienced elementary teacher, children’s book author, and illustrator. She has a BFA in illustration from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and her favorite mediums are watercolor and graphite. Her illustrations focus on everything from children to Victorian architecture, to nature. For the past 13 years she taught lower elementary, but recently has moved to teaching art at her local elementary school. She is proud to be in the service of children. In her spare time Jaime is working on several more books, including a sequel to “The Secret of Sterling House.” Jaime lives in a big, rambling Victorian house with her husband and children. She blogs here weekly and posts artwork regularly on instagram under blackmarigold80
